It is with great appreciation and love for the Randall House organization that I am writing to inform you of my resignation as Church Ministry Consultant effective Thursday, May 31, 2012.  I will be forever grateful for the opportunity Randall House has given me to learn, grow, and serve the Church and God’s Kingdom.

Since I came to Randall House in 2006, it has been a great place for me to minister during a time of healing and refocus. The outstanding leadership and staff at Randall House have helped shape me into the man that I am today. I am confident the leadership, ministry, and business skills I have developed during my years here will serve me well in the ministry God has given me.

It has been my privilege to work with Randall House as an employee, and now I look forward to partnering with you in the days to come as a Free Will Baptist pastor.

It is with mixed emotions I am announcing the resignation of Christian Ministry Consultant, Eric Puschmann (a.k.a. – Pastor Pusch). As of May 31 Eric will step away from RH to begin the next chapter in his life and ministry as the Pastor of Rejoice FWB Church, here in Nashville. We all knew we would lose Eric one day as he followed his heart and calling toward pastoral ministry, and while we are sad for his leaving RH, we rejoice with him for this new ministry opportunity.

Eric’s social nature and genuine heart have endeared him to the customers he has served on behalf of RH. There have been several times I have received calls, emails and comments applauding Eric’s personality, disposition, and interaction with our customers. Eric has been a valuable part of the customer service and sales department for several years and has contributed to RH’s success; he will be greatly missed.

Eric’s servant heart is amply demonstrated in this line from his resignation letter, “It has been my privilege to work with Randall House as an employee, and now I look forward to partnering with you in the days to come as a Free Will Baptist pastor.” I encourage you to support Eric and his family in prayer as they make this transition. Also, pray for God’s guidance to be evident as I seek to fill the vacancy Eric will leave.

The Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross

The First Word: “Father, forgive them…”

“And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left. And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.” (Luke 23:33-34)

The Second Word: “…today you will be with me in Paradise.”

“One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:39-43)

The Third Word: “…here is your Son.”

“…but standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.” (John 19:25-27)

The Fourth Word: “…why have You forsaken me?”

“And when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Mark 15:33-34)

The Fifth Word: “…I thirst.”

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.” A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth.” (John 19:28-29)

The Sixth Word: “…It is finished!”

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.” (John 19:30)

The Seventh Word: “Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit.”

“It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun’s light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.” (Luke 23:44-46)
